The deadline for the Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research has been extended to April 14, 2016!

The Chancellor’s Award is given to distinguished undergraduate researchers in three disciplinary fields and to one faculty member who has made extraordinary contributions to UCSB’s undergraduate research mission. Faculty and student candidates for this award must be nominated by an academic department or program, or by an organized research unit.

Recipients will be honored during the spring commencement ceremonies with a certificate of recognition and a monetary award. Each academic department, program, and organized research unit is invited to nominate one graduating senior and one faculty member.

To nominate a candidate, please read the guidelines and submit your nomination no later than April 14, 2016. Please email urca@ltsc.ucsb.edu with any questions.
